INTRODUCTION

Gopal Shikshya Sadan (GSS) an English medium co-educational boarding school was established in 2044 BS by Late Mr. Surya Kanta Sharma who was the founder and father of this prestigious organization. Mr. Sharma established this school during that time when there was scarcity of quality private schools in Kathmandu. He passed away in 2055 BS by but we are still following his inspirational foot prints. This school was opened by him with the motto, "Quality Education for all". We believe that quality education can only be imparted when the school, home and society work in tandem in a spirit of mutual respect.

The school has adopted all the modern and technology based teaching techniques to enhance the holistic development of its student. The school intends to develop such manpower that would be capable to drive the country with the real feeling of patriotism that has been lacking in our country.

The main aim is to provide all round practical education in which children are prepared to face any crisis in life with moral dignity. Special emphasis is laid to creative outlets and extra co-curricular activities along with the infusion of pure and sound knowledge. We pursue for excellence by encompassing the objective to learning by doing.

We believe to develop each child's potential individually as well as carter to their basic & individual needs with constant monitoring innovative back up, evaluation and support to be well balanced citizens with a healthy attitude towards life.
